Ground Shooting and Motoshot

I can hear the voices now, “You’re going to make us shoot from the ground? But I’ll get my uniform dirty!” Often talked about but rarely trained, is ground shooting. Usually, it involves lying prone on the ground and shooting at a target. Nothing wrong with that as long as the target isn’t moving. But let’s consider for a moment the target is moving and the terrain isn’t gravel or grass. Let’s consider deep snow or even mud, the entire scenario changes.

An officer becoming decentralized is a terrifying situation, even more terrifying is trying to get back to your feet or to a position of cover with a firearm in your hands all while the Motoshot robot is bearing down on you.

It doesn’t matter if it’s snow, mud, or loose gravel the Motoshot robot is designed to operate in those conditions.

Let’s not forget that officers can also practice shooting from a variety of ground positions making the scenario as realistic as possible.
Motoshot now has the Auto Reset feature which allows for the operator to automatically reset the robot and continue the scenario or end it if the officer successfully completes the training goal. If you have any questions or would like a quote – contact us today.
