Malfunctions and In/Out Battery Reloading

Most police officers today are familiar with firearm malfunctions and in/out of battery reloading. My concern as an instructor was that officers were not under pressure in many of these drills. Often they stood static as they performed the drill until mastery was achieved. While I understand the strategy, as we have learned over the years, muscle memory can either kill or save an officer.

“MotoShot will help break this potentially lethal condition by forcing students to move to a position of cover while being confronted by the MotoShot Robot, ultimately forcing students to resolve critical malfunctions while continuing to move.”

MotoShot can advance on the student as he or she moves to a position of cover or concealment while at the same time reloading their weapon, clearing the malfunction, or firing at the threat.

MotoShot can be equipped to react to firearm rounds, pepper spray, and electronic stun devices allowing the student to enlist multiple control measures. Additionally, MotoShot has a new auto-reset feature that allows for resetting the robot, thereby saving time, allowing the scenario to continue uninterrupted.
