Texas Grant Opportunity

The Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy Grant Program, FY2026, administered by the Texas Office of the Governor’s Public Safety Office (PSO), aims to enhance law enforcement training through regional academies.

Key Details:

Purpose: To provide quality, cost-effective training for law enforcement and criminal justice officials via a regional model.
Eligible Applicants: Only Councils of Government (COGs) in Texas may apply.
Funding Levels:
- Minimum: $10,000
- Maximum: Current grantees may not exceed their most recent grant award amount.
Match Requirement: None
Project Period: Projects must start on or after September 1, 2025, and conclude on or before August 31, 2027.
Application Deadline: February 13, 2025, by 5:00 PM CST.
Application Portal: Applications must be submitted through the PSO’s eGrants system at eGrants.gov.texas.gov.
